We are the independently owned and authorized sales and service center for Swagelok® fluid system solutions in North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, supported by over 75 years of Swagelok manufacturing and distribution expertise.

Position Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is a professional role focused on helping grow sales by identifying opportunities, creating customer awareness, and providing market insight to the team. This position is a part of the sales team and will work closely with the account managers, Sales Manager and the Director of Sales to drive sales growth. This role will also be responsible for truly owning the core functions of Marketing within a steadily growing business, that is backed by 75 years of manufacturing excellence and one of the most recognizable brands in the industrial world. A successful Sales and Marketing Coordinator will leverage the strength of Swagelok’s history, brand, and corporate resources to the Strategic direction of our business, through shaping our Customer Experience that maximizes our company’s connectivity to corporate, our customers and each other. This position will only support customers within Swagelok North Carolina | East Tennessee’s Sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Coordination

· Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to inform the sales process and help positioning and messaging against competitors

· Conduct and analyze short- and long-term market forecasts and trends as well as industry news to assist business development in the acquisition of new accounts and growth of current accounts

· Monitor online databases and news feeds to uncover and qualify new companies, leads and industries to support sales growth

· Utilizes data to identify gaps in sales and identify opportunities to grow

· Analyzes current sales to identify gaps in portfolio with customers and to share successes amongst similar accounts

· Monitors market conditions or trends and participate in sales forecasting and planning.

· Manage project activities in our territory and increase win rate on those determined to be strategic Including the communication around new construction opportunities working with the key account managers and utilizing third party construction reports (IIR)

· Manage construction bids, specification reviews, and large construction projects

· Maintain customer outage calendar to align sales and marketing activities

· Leans into customer -facing opportunities such as high-level customer meetings, tours, events, etc

· Commercially oriented and can manage the front-end of the sales process through lead generation

· Support Director of Sales & Sales Manager with SAP Sales Processes and Training

Marketing

· Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plan and activities that align with business objectives and generate sales leads

· Has a passion to understand and is involved in all facets of the business and Strategic Plan Communication

· Assist in choreographing the customer experience including a focus on high impact customer touchpoints as well as developing an actionable customer insight program

· Leads the creation of marketing resources (campaigns, presentations, customer-facing content, website updates, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, etc.) leveraging other resources as necessary

· Mini-Site and Social Media platforms are right-sized, and each has an intentional plan and desired output

· Launch new and existing product commercialization activities including product upsell campaigns for inside staff

· Assist in identifying and managing the execution of Product/Services campaigns to enhance the Swagelok brand and sales growth

· Act as Swagelok Brand Ambassador ensuring the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all external communications and marketing materials in accordance with the Swagelok Brand Guidelines

· Perform ongoing tracking and reporting on marketing initiatives

· Assist in interpreting and creating data for Market trends, Customer interactions and like customers application and products sales opportunities

· Coordinate creation of annual value-add savings reports for key customers

Position Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Business, Engineering, Marketing or Communications preferred

· 5 -10 years of relevant experience, in a sales or marketing focused position is preferred

· Core Competencies

- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Particularly Photoshop and InDesign) preferred

- Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP

- Experience with web design and Google Analytics

- Must possess sight/hearing senses to adequately perform the functions

- Strong Mechanical Aptitude is preferred

- Technical experience in, power, analytical instrumentation, transportation or similar is desirable

· Travel – minimal

Compensation:

· Salary based on experience
